Expanding Presence in Europe
Poperyshniuk cited Moldova as an example, where Nova Poshta has been operating since 2014 and is currently a leader among local logistics operators. However, the company will need another five to ten years to fully adapt to the characteristics of foreign markets and better understand the needs of international clients.
In 2023, Nova Poshta announced its intention to open 200 branches in 30 European countries by 2025. However, the company already has representations in 16 countries. The latest significant step was the opening of a new sorting hub in the Lithuanian city of Kaunas, where over a thousand shipments are processed daily.
Plans to Enter the US Market
Volodymyr Poperyshniuk noted that starting next year, the company will begin active work on expanding into the American market. Initially, Nova Poshta planned to enter the US market by the end of 2025, but currently, the company’s focus is directed towards development in European countries this year.
The company aims to generate 50% of its revenue from operations outside Ukraine. Currently, this figure is 10% and is growing each year.
