BitMine Invests Over $44 Million in Ethereum and Controls 3% of the Asset’s Supply

BitMine Strengthens Its Position in the Ethereum Market

BitMine, the largest corporate holder of Ethereum, recently made a significant purchase of the cryptocurrency: the company acquired 14,618 ETH for a total of $44.3 million. This is evidenced by data from the analytical platform Arkham Intelligence.

All new assets were transferred to a separate wallet, with an average purchase price of $3,030 per ETH. It is worth noting that on November 27, 2025, the price of Ethereum exceeded the $3,000 mark, demonstrating positive dynamics.

Current Share of BitMine and Financial Results

According to Arkham Intelligence, BitMine currently controls over 3.62 million ETH, valued at $10.9 billion. This accounts for approximately 3% of the total Ethereum supply worldwide.

At present, BitMine’s total unrealized loss amounts to $3.6 billion. The company’s ultimate strategic goal is to achieve ownership of 5% of the total Ethereum supply.

In a recent report by 10x Research, analysts concluded that the introduction of staking in spot Ethereum ETFs could negatively impact the financial condition of corporate treasury companies (DAT). This is due to the fact that new funds may provide similar returns with lower risks for investors.
