Ukraine and Estonia will intensify economic cooperation on the path to recovery, implementing the green transition and developing digital reforms. During the negotiations, officials from both countries thoroughly examined mechanisms for attracting private investments and stimulating economic growth.

Industrial Parks and Economic Modernization
Among the key areas of cooperation are the establishment of a National Development Finance Institution, support for a network of industrial parks, and the activities of the State Fund for Decarbonization and Energy Efficiency Transformation. These measures aim to accelerate the modernization of the Ukrainian economy in line with current environmental and energy standards.
Green Transition and Digital Initiatives
The parties paid special attention to supporting the Zhytomyr region, which has been designated as a focal assistance area by Estonia. One of the important aspects of the negotiations was the coordination of efforts in environmental protection and the implementation of the green transition. This includes effective water resource management, the development of a circular economy, the restoration of degraded ecosystems, and monitoring air quality in accordance with international standards.

The Ukrainian delegation presented a number of key digital projects to their Estonian colleagues and also discussed further cooperation in enhancing the cybersecurity resilience of critical digital systems.
