Solana Mobile has officially started shipping the second generation of its Seeker smartphones in over 50 countries worldwide. The new device has already attracted more than 150,000 users who have placed pre-orders. This demand significantly exceeds the results of the first model — Saga, which previously sold around 20,000 units.

Innovations of Solana Seeker: Crypto Wallet, dApps, and Data Protection
The Seeker smartphone is equipped with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet and its own decentralized applications (dApps) store, allowing users to bypass the limitations of traditional marketplaces. The estimated revenue from Seeker sales could reach at least $67.5 million.
The manufacturer emphasizes security: the device uses Seed Vault technology, which isolates private keys and seed phrases from the application level while allowing convenient interaction with them. The smartphone itself is built on the TEEPIN architecture — a three-tier system that ensures decentralized access to the device and the distribution of applications. Cryptographic attestation is used to confirm the legality of the installed software.
Wide Opportunities for Developers and Users
Solana Mobile positions Seeker as a tool for developers and crypto enthusiasts. For the former, it opens access to an alternative platform for distributing applications with lower fees compared to Google Play or the App Store. For users, Seeker simplifies working with DeFi applications, NFTs, and Web3 games.
The Seeker model is priced between $450 and $500 depending on the configuration. Unlike the first generation, which temporarily lost popularity and gained a second wind due to airdrops of meme coins, the new smartphone is showing high demand right from the start.
“Seekers officially begin shipping today! Thank you for your support and belief in Solana Mobile from day one. We are dispatching tens of thousands of devices to 50 countries worldwide, so don’t delay while your order will be shipped in the coming weeks.”
It is also emphasized that the device enhances user security when working with digital assets. According to the company’s CEO, Emmett Hollyer, it is the on-chain functionality and TEEPIN architecture that make Seeker unique in the Web3 device market.
Recall that in 2024, the company Metavisio announced the creation of Web3 laptops with a built-in crypto wallet and access to airdrops.
