Activity of SpaceX’s Bitcoin Wallet and Current BTC Rate
According to Arkham Intelligence, this is the first significant movement of bitcoins by SpaceX since 2022. At the time of the transaction, the value of bitcoin was $117,773, according to TradingView data.

The movement of funds occurred against the backdrop of a stable BTC rate, which remains at historically high levels. On the Binance exchange, the daily chart for BTC/USDT shows a gradual increase in the cryptocurrency.

SpaceX’s Cryptocurrency Strategy and Investment Plans
Back in 2021, Elon Musk confirmed that SpaceX owns bitcoins, although the details remained undisclosed. According to Arkham Intelligence, by 2023, the company had partially sold digital assets worth $373 million.
In the first quarter of 2023, SpaceX reported a profit of $55 million for the first time in two years, likely related to operations in the cryptocurrency market. In March 2024, Arkham Intelligence implemented tools to monitor the assets of SpaceX and Tesla. At that time, both companies owned bitcoins worth over $1.3 billion, making them among the largest corporate holders of BTC.
It is worth noting that in 2021, Elon Musk himself confirmed that SpaceX owns bitcoins, but the details were kept secret.
As of July 2025, SpaceX announced plans to invest up to $2 billion in xAI, an artificial intelligence company founded by Musk. The $10 billion funding may partially come from digital assets, including bitcoins.
In April 2025, SpaceX conducted its first-ever crewed orbital mission over both poles of the Earth. The funding for the flight was provided by Chun Wang, co-founder of F2Pool — one of the largest mining pools. This indicates a deepening integration of SpaceX into the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
