Deal Structure and Development Strategy

Details regarding the structure and terms of the round remain confidential. Meanwhile, Lighter’s CEO Volodymyr Novakovskyi reported that investors received both shares and token warrants from the company. In his interview, he outlined the platform’s mission as follows:

“We want to become the infrastructure layer that ensures everything happening in the financial space is fair, correct, and transparent,” Novakovskyi stated in the interview.

Technological Features and Plans for Lighter

Lighter is a decentralized exchange operating on a ZK-rollup over the Arbitrum network. Currently, users have access to derivatives trading, but the development team is already announcing plans to expand functionality and implement spot trading in the near future.

In response to questions about competition with other similar platforms, particularly Hyperliquid, Volodymyr Novakovskyi noted that he is satisfied with the current achievements, but the team continues to work intensively on further developing the exchange.

The main network of Lighter was launched in early October 2025, and the token generation event (TGE) is expected by the end of this year.
