On April 14, 2025, a small inflow of capital was recorded in the spot Bitcoin ETF segment, while there was an outflow in the spot Ethereum ETFs that has been ongoing for five days. This marked the first day of capital inflow into Bitcoin ETFs after seven consecutive days of outflow.

The net daily inflow of capital in spot Bitcoin ETFs amounted to $1.47 million. One product, IBIT, closed the session in the “green” zone with a volume of $36.72 million, while another product, FBTC, ended the day in the “red” zone with $35.25 million. Overall, during the outflow period, more than $878 million was withdrawn from products based on the first cryptocurrency.
Capital Outflow in Ethereum ETFs
At the same time, the negative trend continues in the spot Ethereum ETF segment. The capital outflow amounted to $5.98 million. One product, FETH, suffered a loss of $7.78 million, while CETH recorded an inflow of $1.8 million. Thus, over the past five days, $88.45 million has been withdrawn from products based on the second-largest cryptocurrency.
Market Situation in Hong Kong
No capital movement was recorded in the spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the Hong Kong market. It is worth noting that last week, from April 7 to April 11, 2025, the total losses in these two sectors exceeded $795 million.
