New Funding and Stock Placement Strategy

Strategy has updated its funding program, dividing it into two equal parts: $21 billion is planned to be raised through the issuance of Class A common stock, and another $21 billion through perpetual preferred shares of series STRC with variable returns. These funds will be directed towards further increasing Bitcoin reserves and strengthening financial stability.

Additionally, Strategy has launched a new program for placing preferred shares STRK worth $2.1 billion, which replaces the previous initiative. According to the report, within the existing programs, the company still has significant unused resources for capital raising.

As of March 22, 2026, the company can additionally raise:

  • $6.24 billion — through common stock;
  • $1.98 billion — through STRC;
  • $20.33 billion — through STRK;
  • $1.62 billion — through STRF.

Strengthening Partnership Ties and Bitcoin Accumulation Dynamics

Strategy is actively expanding its partnership on Wall Street, bringing in players such as Moelis & Company, A.G.P./Alliance Global Partners, and StoneX Financial into the placement syndicate. The number of partners has increased to 19, providing the company with the flexibility to sell shares and gradually attract investments in the market.

Amid these changes, the company continues to actively increase its Bitcoin reserves. Over the past week, Strategy acquired more than 1000 BTC, bringing the total number of coins in its portfolio to 762,099 BTC.

Previously, the company reported the purchase of 22,337 BTC for approximately $1.57 billion at an average price of $70,194 per coin. The financing for this purchase was conducted through an at-the-market (ATM) stock placement program.

Strategy’s securities remain among the most popular among American public companies for opening short positions. According to analysts, at the end of February, the volume of short positions reached about 14% of the market capitalization, equivalent to approximately $34 billion.

Goldman Sachs emphasizes that a high level of short positions does not always indicate pessimistic investor sentiment, but is often associated with complex hedging strategies.

“CEO of Strategy Fong Le stated that the company may face issues servicing its obligations only if Bitcoin falls to $8000.”
