Record Round and New Investors

The fresh investment has increased the total funds raised in the Series A round to $40 million, nearly tripling Utila’s valuation over the past six months. In total, the company has raised over $51.5 million. The leading investor was Red Dot Capital Partners, joined by Nyca Partners, Wing Venture Capital, DCG, Cerca Partners, Funfair Ventures, SilverCircle, and others. Notably, the additional funding was secured without an active capital search — investors took notice of Utila’s rapid growth and proactively expressed interest in investing.

Since the announcement of the first Series A round in March 2024, Utila has been able to more than double its customer base. The platform currently processes over $15 billion in monthly transactions and has already facilitated over $90 billion in transactions. The number of user organizations has exceeded 200 worldwide.

“We are witnessing fundamental changes in how organizations conduct value transfers, and stablecoins are at the center of this transformation. Six months ago, we were preparing for the next wave of digital asset adoption. Today, that wave has already arrived, and Utila has become a key infrastructure layer for any organization working with stablecoins — from global payment providers to financial institutions.”

Plans for Global Expansion and Product Development

The Utila team plans to direct the raised funds towards further growth and expanding its international presence. The company is particularly focused on Latin America, the Asia-Pacific region, and Africa — where stablecoins play a crucial role in developing modern financial infrastructure. Additionally, the investments will be used to enhance the product, expand the team, and deepen collaboration with major financial institutions.

Atad Peled, a partner at Red Dot Capital Partners, emphasized that Utila meets the demands of the current market, where there is a rapidly growing need for safe and efficient solutions for corporate-level stablecoin operations. He noted that the growth of Utila’s customer base confirms the demand for the platform created.

According to analysts, the market capitalization of the stablecoin sector has already exceeded $250 billion. This indicates the rapid development of the industry and the increasing role of platforms like Utila in the global financial ecosystem.

It is worth noting that the initial funding round for Utila took place in March 2024, when the company raised $11.5 million.
