According to Eurostat, in 2024, the European Union exported goods worth €42.8 billion to Ukraine, while importing products valued at €24.5 billion. This resulted in a trade surplus of €18.3 billion. There was an increase of 9.4% in the export segment and 7% in imports compared to 2023.

Main Export Goods from the European Union
Among the main goods exported from the EU to Ukraine are mineral fuels (worth €6.8 billion), electrical equipment (€4.3 billion), and machinery (€4.2 billion). The export of mineral fuels from the EU saw the largest increase, rising by €4.1 billion, due to a significant reduction in imports of similar products from Russia and Belarus.
Import of Goods from Ukraine
Regarding imports, the main categories of goods coming from Ukraine include agricultural products. This includes grains worth €4.4 billion, animal fats and vegetable oils (€3.1 billion), as well as oilseeds and products derived from them (€2.5 billion). Compared to 2021, the import of grains increased by €2.7 billion, fats and oils by €1 billion, and oilseeds and their processed products by €1.1 billion.
