According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, inflation in the consumer market in June 2025 compared to May was 0.8%. At the same time, the annual inflation rate slowed to 14.3%. This indicates a gradual decrease in the rate of price growth in the country.

Price Dynamics for Key Goods and Services
In June of this year, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.4%. The largest increase was recorded for fruits, which became 13.5% more expensive. Significant price increases were also observed for meat and meat products, fish, lard, bread, dairy products, butter, and sugar, ranging from 0.2% to 3.3%.
“Last month, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 1.4%. Fruits became the most expensive (by 13.5%). Prices for meat and meat products, non-alcoholic beverages, fish and fish products, lard, bread, dairy products, butter, and sugar increased by 0.2% to 3.3%.”
At the same time, some categories of products became cheaper. In particular, vegetables became more affordable by 8.1%, and prices for eggs, pasta, milk, and rice decreased by 0.4% to 1.1%.
Changes in Other Consumer Market Categories
Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased in price by 1.1%, mainly due to a 1.8% rise in the cost of tobacco products. Clothing and footwear, on the other hand, became cheaper by 2.3% and 2.1%, respectively.
Prices for transportation services rose by 1.1% in June. The main factors for the increase were a 5.4% rise in the cost of rail passenger transport and a 2.3% increase in fuel and lubricants prices.
