The State Property Fund of Ukraine is actively conducting privatization auctions, demonstrating a significant increase in budget revenues. Last week, over 134.21 million UAH was raised at seven online auctions, with an average price increase of 175%. The most expensive lot during this period was the ‘Kyiv Automobile Repair Plant’, which was sold for 123.3 million UAH.

Record Sale of ‘Enerhostal’
On August 12, the State Property Fund sold 100% of the state enterprise ‘Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Center for Metallurgical Industry “Enerhostal”’ (Kharkiv) to Sanders Loft for 600 million UAH, with an additional 120 million UAH paid in VAT. It is worth noting that the starting price of the lot was only 10.47 million UAH, indicating a significant increase in the asset’s value during the bidding.
Auctions and State Property Leasing
This week, the Fund planned to conduct ten privatization auctions. However, the sale of 100% of the shares of the ‘Titan Institute’ from Zaporizhzhia, with a starting price of 99.77 million UAH, did not take place due to a lack of bids from investors. This institute specializes in carrying out a full range of research and design work in the field of rare earth metals.
Alongside privatization, the leasing of state property last week provided the budget with revenues of 252,945 UAH. The total value of assets increased by 684% compared to initial estimates. This week, 41 auctions for the leasing of state property are scheduled.
