In the first quarter of 2025, the Ukrainian market for long steel products showed significant growth in imports, reaching 49,700 tons, which is 92.7% more compared to the same period last year. According to data obtained from GMK Center based on information from the State Customs Service, this figure is also 20.4% higher than the results of the previous quarter. The majority of the supplies consisted of various profiles, including angles and shaped profiles, which, according to the UKTZED (7216), amounted to 26,880 tons, exceeding last year’s volume by 111.5%.
