Ukraine and Denmark have reached an important defense agreement that involves the production of Ukrainian weapons at Danish factories. Under this agreement, Denmark will participate in the joint manufacturing of 155mm self-propelled howitzers ‘Bogdan’, as well as drones, loitering munitions, and electronic warfare systems.

The Agreement Strengthens Industrial Cooperation
The new agreement will accelerate the supply of weapons for the Ukrainian army, secure production from the threat of Russian missile strikes, and deepen cooperation between the industrial sectors of Denmark and Ukraine. The document is based on a Letter of Intent signed in June, which allocated $72 million for the establishment of production lines in Denmark for Ukrainian defense products.
Expansion of Drone Production and Supply Chain Security
In July, the agreements were expanded to include the joint production of drones – from tactical reconnaissance UAVs to long-range drones. The placement of defense production in partner countries allows Ukraine to maintain continuity in supply chains even during massive air attacks from the Russian Federation.
“This is not just about the defense of Ukraine. It is about strengthening the defense capabilities of all of Europe,” stated Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.
