Plant Capacities and Clients

Motor Detail Konotop is known as one of the key manufacturers of cylinder liners for internal combustion engines in Europe. The plant has foundries, machining, and auxiliary workshops, and employs over 600 workers. Among its clients are leading global automotive brands, including Rolls-Royce, Scania, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo.

Funds from Privatization Will Go Towards Infrastructure Restoration

All proceeds from the sale will be directed to the Fund for Liquidation of the Consequences of Armed Aggression by the Russian Federation — for the restoration of housing stock and critical infrastructure facilities that have been damaged as a result of the war.

“Let us remind you that in 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court ruled to seize assets belonging to Russian Federation Federation Council Senator Sergey Kalashnikov for the benefit of the state.”

Among these assets is the Motor Detail Konotop enterprise, which specializes in the production of parts for automotive, tractor, marine, locomotive, and stationary internal combustion engines.
