Modern Technologies and Production Scale
The capacities of the new enterprise will allow for the production of up to 15,000 tons of salt per month, which will meet over 50% of the needs of the Ukrainian salt market. The factory will be the first industrial enterprise in Ukraine to implement innovative comprehensive technologies in salt production. The launch of the factory is expected to significantly reduce Ukraine’s dependence on imports of this product and contribute to the development of the domestic industry.
Restoration of the Kuyalnik Estuary
In addition to its production activities, the company will participate in environmental initiatives, particularly in the restoration of the Kuyalnik Estuary. The Kuyalnik National Nature Park, together with the factory specialists, is developing solutions to reduce the salinity of the estuary without using budget funds. It is planned to implement a method of basin sedimentation of excess salts: the collected salt will be processed at the new enterprise.
It is noted that the company has invested $2.8 million in this project, funded through the preferential state loan program “5-7-9%.”
