A new industrial site has emerged in the Odesa region – the ‘Eco-Industrial Park Southern’, which has been officially added to the Register of Industrial Parks. Located in the Podilskyi district, this facility will create approximately 1,500 new jobs, providing a significant boost to the region’s economic development.

Structure of the Park and Main Areas of Activity
The initiative to establish the park was put forth by the Podilskyi City Council, with management handled by the company ‘Eco Solutions’. The total area of the industrial park is 37.39 hectares. The main areas of activity identified here include the production of food products, non-metallic mineral products, finished metal products, machinery and equipment, furniture, as well as the development of scientific and technical activities.
Capital investments for the creation and development of the industrial park’s facilities are estimated at ₴3.7 billion. According to representatives of the Podilskyi City Council, it is planned to attract investments totaling $83 million for the implementation of this large-scale project.
Funding and Strategic Importance
The main sources of funding have been identified as the funds of the managing company, park participants, potential investors, international technical assistance, as well as support from state and local budgets. This approach will ensure the sustainable development of the industrial park in the long term.
“Southern” is the 14th industrial facility to be added to the Register of Industrial Parks in 2025.
The implementation of this project is expected to strengthen the industrial potential of Odesa region, attract investments, and create new jobs in the area.
