Industrial Park in Ternopil Region to Receive $30 Million Investment by 2028

The Chortkiv West Industrial Park in the Ternopil region will soon become a site for large-scale investments — projects worth $30 million are planned to be implemented here by 2028. The initiative is led by the “Ukrainian Industrial Cluster” (Kharkiv), which has already signed preliminary agreements with investors regarding the construction of production complexes and modern educational centers.

Construction Phases and Job Creation

The first phase of the park’s development will begin in 2026: production facilities for companies within the cluster will be built on an area of 20 hectares. This phase is expected to create 340 jobs. The second phase will start in 2027, during which innovative educational and training centers will be established on the same territory. This will provide additional employment for another 280 specialists.

Development of Industrial Parks in Ukraine

According to research by the development company Alterra Group, there are already 104 industrial parks in Ukraine. Their potential is impressive: they can generate approximately 39.3 billion hryvnias for the state budget annually, attract up to 152.9 billion hryvnias in investments, and create around 152,000 new jobs. Last year, a record number of 31 industrial parks were registered.

The largest number of industrial parks is located in Lviv region (17 parks), Kyiv region (13), and Transcarpathia (12). In terms of expected investment volumes, Kyiv region leads with 32.5 billion UAH, followed by Lviv (27.9 billion UAH) and Rivne (15.7 billion UAH).

“Ukrainian Industrial Cluster” (Kharkiv) plans to build production facilities and educational centers in the Chortkiv West industrial park (Ternopil region) for $30 million by 2028. Preliminary agreements have already been signed with investors. In the first phase, production facilities for cluster companies will be constructed on 20 hectares, while the second phase will involve innovative educational and training centers on the same area. The construction of the first phase is scheduled for 2026, and the second for 2027. The first phase will create 340 jobs, while the second will create 280.
