From Seizure to Privatization: How the Plant Changed

After the onset of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, the assets of the company “Aerok,” previously owned by Russian citizen Andriy Molchanov, were seized and transferred to the National Agency for Asset Management (ARMA). Subsequently, the asset was put up for privatization. In December 2024, the auction winner was “Trident Geoinvest Ukraine,” part of the BGV group, which acquired the plant for 1.89 billion hryvnias and initiated its rebranding.

The BGV team, along with the plant’s employees, restored the full production cycle at one of the largest aerated concrete plants in the country. Since July 2025, the Poriston plant in Berezan has been operating at full capacity.

Modern Product Range and Production Capabilities

According to BGV Group Management, the enterprise is ready to produce up to 1.15 million cubic meters of aerated concrete annually, which meets the essential needs of the construction industry — from creating load-bearing structures to providing thermal insulation.

“We are ready to produce 1.15 million cubic meters of aerated concrete annually. The updated range consists of five product categories that cover all key construction needs – from load-bearing structures to thermal insulation,” BGV stated.

The resumption of the plant’s operations is an important step for the development of Ukraine’s construction industry and demonstrates the effective implementation of state policy aimed at the return and launch of strategic enterprises.
