“We are investing several tens of millions of hryvnias because we could not carry out the necessary work for three years due to the war. It’s not that much, but it is very significant for production,”
noted Brodskyi.
In addition to reconstruction, “Velta” plans to design new facilities that will include new minerals at the Birzulivske deposit, as well as develop its own energy system. This will allow for greater production stability and reduce the cost of goods.
“We have not stopped preparing and calculating a new large project, not just a project, but an entire cluster for the extraction and processing of critical minerals based on the same Birzulivske and another one of our deposits – Likarivske in the Kirovohrad region,”
Brodskyi said.
High-tech processing is planned on the territory of the former mine, which the company “Velta” leases. Next year, it plans to begin the reconstruction of this area.
“Four types of raw materials from the list of the raw materials agreement between Ukraine and the USA, and additional products that are the foundation for the recovery of our country during wartime and post-war time. We have called all this the ‘CRM cluster,’ and it can become the flagship of the agreement that was ratified in the Verkhovna Rada,”
emphasized Brodskyi.
