Ukrainian Metallurgical Companies Invest in Production Modernization and Export

Українські металурги інвестують мільйони доларів у виробництво продукції для експорту і запрошують долучатись до проєктів.

Domestic metallurgical enterprises are actively investing millions of dollars in production development and exploring new export markets, as well as inviting investors to join in the implementation of large-scale projects.

New Centravis Investments in Pipe Production

Leading manufacturer of seamless stainless steel pipes Centravis plans to implement a number of investment initiatives worth a total of $14.5 million over the next two years. The first of these projects, with a budget of $11 million, involves the purchase of modern equipment for the production of pipes, fittings, and casing columns. This will enable the company to expand its production capacities in the fields of carbon capture, as well as oil and gas extraction. To implement this phase, $10 million needs to be raised.

The second project of Centravis concerns the expansion of the product range. The company plans to start producing seamless stainless steel pipes with a diameter of 4 mm and above. This opens access to new markets: hydrogen, semiconductor, medical, and aerospace industries. This direction requires $3 million to be raised with a total budget of $3.5 million. The export of such products is aimed at clients from the USA, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Dniprometiz-TAS Plans for Export Development

One of the leaders in Ukrainian metallurgy — wire and sectional fencing manufacturer “Dniprometiz-TAS” — is also expanding production. Over the next three years, the company plans to invest $4 million in launching a new hot-dip galvanizing line for steel wire. Of this amount, $2 million needs to be raised externally. The new production line will have a capacity of 24,000 tons per year. The finished products will be supplied to the markets of Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
