The company “Biopharma Plasma” has completed 80% of the construction of an innovative pharmaceutical production facility for blood plasma in Uzhhorod, located in the Transcarpathian region. The commissioning of the first phase of the enterprise is scheduled for the first half of 2026.

Production Features and Future Plans
Initially, the factory will produce targeted blood plasma concentrates, which will be sent for further purification and transformation into finished medicinal products at the “Biopharma Plasma” facility in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. By the end of this year, the start of construction for the second phase of the factory in Uzhhorod is planned. After this stage is completed, the enterprise will be able to process the targeted concentrates on-site independently.
According to production plans, the output of blood plasma products at the Uzhhorod factory will exceed the figures of the enterprise in Bila Tserkva by twofold. It is expected that up to 1.5 million liters of blood plasma will be processed here annually. The factory will employ 150 specialists.

Investments and Export Orientation
The construction of the factory began in the autumn of 2024, with a total investment amounting to approximately €80 million. The enterprise in Uzhhorod will primarily focus on exporting its products, which will contribute to the development of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry and enhance competitiveness in the international market.
