A Waste Processing Plant Will Be Built in Dubno for €28 Million with the Participation of Canadian Investors

A modern waste processing plant will be constructed in the city of Dubno in the Rivne region with the support of the Canadian investment company Projex International Inc. During the visit of the company’s delegation to Dubno, the prospects for implementing an innovative project aimed at converting waste into energy to improve the ecological situation and stimulate the economic development of the local community were discussed.

A Memorandum on the Establishment of the Enterprise Has Been Signed

As a result of negotiations, representatives of Projex International Inc, along with the Dubno City Council, signed a memorandum. The document provides for the construction of a waste processing enterprise, which will significantly reduce the volume of waste disposal at the local landfill and will become a source of additional revenue for the city’s budget.

“Following the meeting, representatives of Projex International Inc and the Dubno City Council signed a memorandum that provides for the establishment of a waste processing enterprise, which will contribute to reducing the volume of landfill waste and ensure additional income for the local budget.”

Key Parameters of the Investment Project

The investment in the construction of the plant will amount to €28 million, and the project implementation period is estimated at 36 months. The enterprise will be able to process up to 500 tons of waste per day. With the launch of the plant, the community will gain an effective tool for addressing the issues of household waste disposal by transforming it into electrical and thermal energy. Additionally, the project is expected to create around 70 new jobs for local residents.
