Initially, it was planned that the new factory would commence operations by the end of 2024; however, due to circumstances related to the war, the launch has been postponed to 2027. The project’s cost is €135 million, and the planned capacity of the new plant is 600 tons of glass per day.
“The main factor affecting the timelines for implementation is the war,” the company states.
During the selection of locations for the new production, City One Development carefully analyzed five regions of Ukraine. Important factors were evaluated, such as the distance to markets, which allows for the optimization of logistics costs, as well as access to energy resources, which are critically important for energy-intensive production processes.
