Key Bills Under Consideration

The agenda includes the following projects:

  • GENIUS Act (Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins) — a document dedicated to the regulation of stablecoins, which was already approved by the U.S. Senate in June 2025.
  • CLARITY Act (Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025) — a framework bill that defines the classification of digital assets and creates a regulatory framework for the development of the cryptocurrency market. The initiative previously received support from two House committees.
  • Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act — a bill that proposes a ban on the issuance of a digital dollar (CBDC) by the Federal Reserve in the U.S.

Trump and Republican Position

In a joint statement, French Hill, chair of the House Financial Services Committee, Glenn Thompson, chair of the Agriculture Committee, and House Speaker Mike Johnson noted that “Cryptocurrency Week” will be an important step for the development of the digital asset market in the U.S. President Donald Trump previously called for the swift passage of the GENIUS Act and emphasized his desire to sign it by August 2025.

“Republicans in the House of Representatives are taking decisive steps to implement all of President Trump’s agenda in the field of digital assets and cryptocurrencies,” Johnson stated.

It is worth noting that recently, the U.S. Senate passed a large budget bill titled “Big Beautiful Bill,” but it did not include tax incentives for the cryptocurrency sector, which drew significant criticism from Democrats.
