The number of industrial parks in Ukraine is noticeably increasing: over the past three years, their number has doubled, reaching 105 facilities, and another 30 applications are currently under government review. This was reported by Anton Andriienko, a representative of the Ministry of Economy, during the Forum of Industrialists.

Challenges in Launching Production in Parks
Despite the positive dynamics in registrations, most parks still do not fulfill their objectives due to the lack of manufacturing enterprises on their territory. According to Andriienko, only one-third of industrial parks are operating effectively, while the rest remain at the project stage for now.
“Only one-third of industrial parks currently have one or two processing enterprises on their territory, while the rest, unfortunately, are still theoretical projects,” Andriienko added.
Innovation Forpost in Dnipro: A Development Example
Among the positive examples is the industrial park Innovation Forpost in Dnipro, where the reconstruction of industrial facilities is nearing completion. Negotiations are already underway with the first potential tenants—both enterprises plan to operate in the food industry. Two industrial buildings with a total area of 3,500 sq. m are being reconstructed on the park’s territory, and a substation with a capacity of 16.5 MW is being built. To date, approximately 67 million UAH has already been invested in the park’s development, and by spring 2026, it is planned to attract another approximately 310 million UAH. Private investments in the establishment of production are expected to reach around 6 billion UAH.
