Polish Business Actively Participating in Reconstruction

“Over 3,000 Polish companies are already involved in Ukraine’s reconstruction projects, and the country is interested in greater engagement of private Polish businesses in working with Ukrainian producers and in Polish investments in our economy,”

noted Yulia Svyrydenko, emphasizing the importance of further activating the participation of Polish companies in the recovery processes. The parties also explored opportunities for Polish investors and discussed existing investment proposals from Ukraine.

Investment Partnership within the Ukraine Investment Framework

Particular attention during the negotiations was given to the Ukraine Investment Framework (UIF) – a key tool of the European Union that facilitates the attraction of foreign investments for the reconstruction of Ukraine. The Ukrainian side highlighted the effectiveness of the UIF in launching real projects on the ground and developing entrepreneurship through international resources.

The Polish delegation was thoroughly briefed on current cooperation opportunities in the energy and industrial sectors. Additionally, Ukraine officially invited Poland to become a member of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Alliance, aimed at further deepening the partnership.

During the negotiations, the parties agreed to organize a series of separate meetings to present investment opportunities in key sectors of Ukraine’s economy to Polish businesses, as well as to familiarize them with government support programs and investment facilitation initiatives currently in place in the country.
