Ukraine Modernizes Grain Factories and Builds Energy-Independent Poultry Complex

Бізнес в Україні розбудовує промислові потужності: На Тернопільщині круп’яний завод розширив асортимент продукції, а на Волині збудують енергонезалежний птахопереробний комплекс.

In 2025, the grain factory “EKOR TZ” in Ternopil region underwent a large-scale modernization of its production by installing a new technological line for producing six types of instant flakes. Thanks to the implemented innovation, the enterprise now produces flakes made from wheat, buckwheat, barley, peas, as well as two varieties of oat flakes.

Strategic Development of Food Production

“For us, this is not just a new production line – it is a strategic step towards the development of the Ukrainian processing sector. We strive to show that it is possible to produce European-level products in Ukraine using domestic raw materials and modern technologies,” the factory reported.

The enterprise plans to continue expanding its production of flakes and is also considering the possibility of launching new products – energy bars and muesli based on local raw materials.

New Poultry Processing Complex in Volyn

Meanwhile, preparations are underway in Volyn for the construction of an innovative industrial complex for poultry processing and a biogas station. The Rozhyshchenska City Council has already approved the detailed plan for this facility near the village of Trylisci on a site of over 31 hectares. The biogas station is set to become a source of energy for the complex, ensuring its energy independence.

The launch of a modern poultry processing enterprise will create about 1,000 new jobs, positively impacting the economic development of the region and promoting the implementation of energy-efficient technologies in the industry.
