Ukraine Opens Arms Exports and Establishes Representations in Europe

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the start of Ukrainian arms exports and the opening of ten export centers in European countries by 2026. According to the announced plans, new export representations will be established in the Nordic and Baltic states.

Drone Production in Europe

According to the president, a full-fledged production line for manufacturing Ukrainian drones will be operational in Germany by mid-February 2026. In addition, production lines based on Ukrainian technologies are already functioning in the United Kingdom, producing drones. All these projects are based on domestic developments, strengthening Ukraine’s position in the global arms market.

Development of the Technology Sector and Investments

Zelensky also reported that currently around 450 companies in Ukraine are engaged in drone manufacturing, making this sector the largest in the country in terms of the number of enterprises. The president emphasized:

“We are very technological. As of today, we have 450 companies producing drones, of which 40-50 are currently top-tier. Everyone wants to invest, so 2026 will be the year of investments in our technologies, primarily in drones,” the president stressed.

He noted that during the large-scale invasion, the production of unmanned aerial vehicles became a leading sector of the economy, significantly attracting foreign investments and contributing to the development of the country’s innovative potential.
