Logistics Recovery and New Export Approaches

Ukrainian exporters have managed to partially restore the use of water transport, which has contributed to a reduction in logistics costs. Additionally, companies are actively working to reduce their dependence on intermediaries by opening their own offices in European Union countries. The backbone of domestic organic exports traditionally consists of three crops: soybeans, corn, and wheat.

Ukraine Rises to Third Place Among Organic Exporters to the EU

Ukraine remains a leading supplier of organic grains to the European Union. In 2024, our country moved up from fifth to third place among the largest suppliers of organic products to the European market. At the same time, export volumes to the EU increased by 17.4%, reaching 203,900 tons, which accounts for 7.7% of all organic product imports into the EU. The main importers of Ukrainian organic products are the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria.

Significant growth has also occurred in the supply of organic products to North America, particularly to the USA, where soybeans and sunflower oil are the primary exports from Ukraine.
