As a result of the first half of the online auctions of the “Land Bank,” over 20,000 hectares of state land have been transferred to farmers for legal use. At the same time, the budget received ₴584.9 million including VAT for the right to use these agricultural lands, as reported by the Ministry of Economy.

Transition to Subleasing
As of October 1, 2024, 506 subleasing auctions have been held in Ukraine, concerning 35,235 hectares of land across 17 regions. As a result of 271 auctions, subleasing contracts have been signed for 20,521 hectares. The highest average price per hectare was recorded in Ivano-Frankivsk region at ₴47,500, while the lowest average price is observed in Zakarpattia at ₴3,496 per hectare. It is important to note that 69.1% of the auction winners are small and medium-sized agricultural businesses.
Available Land Plots
As of April 3 of this year, there are still 394 land plots available for subleasing in Ukraine, totaling 12,000 hectares. Among them, the largest lot is a plot of 3,969 hectares in Kirovohrad region, with a starting price of ₴13.7 million, and a repeat auction is scheduled for April 22.
