Темпи експорту зерна та жнив продовжують значно відставати від торішніх.

As of August 8, 2025, Ukraine has exported 2.135 million tons of grains and legumes since the beginning of the new marketing season. In August alone, 470 thousand tons were shipped abroad, including 1.091 million tons of wheat and 706 thousand tons of corn. In comparison, last year at the same date, grain and legume exports reached 4.962 million tons, including 1.26 million tons in August.

Agricultural Exports and Supply Structure

In July 2025, the volume of agricultural exports from Ukraine amounted to 3.4 million tons, which is 4.2% less than in the same period of the previous month. The majority of exports traditionally consisted of grains, as well as oilseeds and their processed products.

Harvest and Quality of the New Crop

By August 8, Ukrainian farmers had already harvested 22.4 million tons of grains and oilseeds. In particular, the volume of harvested wheat is 14.91 million tons, which is significantly lower than last year’s figure of over 28.5 million tons at the same date.

“Abundant rainfall in July and early August deteriorated the quality of wheat in western and northern Ukraine, leading to a weekly drop in feed grain prices by ₴300-400, to ₴9,650-9,800 per ton, while food-grade wheat was priced at ₴10,700-10,900 per ton.”

A significant amount of rainfall affected the quality of the grain, especially in the western and northern regions of the country. This led to a decrease in the value of feed wheat, while prices for food-grade raw materials remained relatively stable.
