The company Suziria Group, one of the leading distributors and manufacturers of pet food, is experiencing significant growth in its presence in the Ukrainian market. According to Polina Kosharnaya, co-owner of the company, the past year marked stable development in the growth of the pet industry market: in monetary terms, the figure reached 20%, while in tonnage it was 7%. Forecasts for 2025 predict further market growth of 4-5% in tonnage and approximately 20% in monetary terms.

From 2021 to 2024, Suziria Group demonstrated faster growth compared to the market. During this period, the company’s market share increased from 10.7% to nearly 15%. The foundation of the business consists of the MasterZoo store network and the distribution arm Suziria Ukraine. Significant progress has been observed in the development of proprietary brands, which contributes to strengthening the company’s position in the market.
Geographical Expansion and Future Plans
According to the top manager, before the onset of the full-scale war, Suziria Group was limited to its presence in Moldova and Belarus. After February 24, the company ceased cooperation with the Belarusian market, but is currently actively expanding its geographical reach and operates in ten European countries.
Currently, the company is focused on development in the European direction and plans to enter the market of the Fressnapf chain, one of the largest in Europe. After 2027, Suziria Group intends to capture markets in America and Asia to solidify its position as an international player in the pet food industry.
