The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved changes to the state business support program ‘Own Business’, which provide for a significant increase in the amount of financial assistance for entrepreneurs. Starting from January 1, 2026, the maximum grant amount will reach 1 million hryvnias, and the conditions for obtaining funding will become more flexible for different categories of participants.

New Conditions for Grant Acquisition
According to the updated rules, the amounts of microgrants will be distributed as follows:
- 100,000 hryvnias – without the obligation to create new jobs;
- 200,000 hryvnias – on the condition of opening one job;
- 350,000 hryvnias – if the entrepreneur creates two jobs;
- 200,000 hryvnias – for young people aged 18 to 25 years;
- 1 million hryvnias – for family members of deceased or missing defenders, if four new jobs are created.
Entrepreneurs who have already received a grant and fulfilled all the conditions of the previous program will be able to reapply for funding. The ‘Own Business’ program has already supported over 28,000 Ukrainian entrepreneurs in three years, providing funding of over 5 billion hryvnias and contributing to the creation of more than 51,000 new jobs.

Grants for Vineyard Owners and Winemakers in Odesa Region
In addition to state support, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has also announced the provision of grant assistance for vineyard owners and winemakers in the Odesa region. The grant amounts range from 10,000 to 25,000 US dollars. Producers who cultivate between 2 and 50 hectares of vineyards are invited to participate in the program. This allows local entrepreneurs to attract additional investments for the development of their businesses.
