According to company representatives, this partnership will allow Bitget Wallet users to pay for purchases with stablecoins, including USDT and USDC, at physical and online stores. We aim to make cryptocurrencies a convenient tool for daily purchases, and our partnership with Paydify helps simplify this process for both sellers and buyers,” emphasized Bitget Wallet’s Chief Operating Officer Alvin Kan.
Scaling Crypto Transactions and Benefits for Businesses
As part of the pilot launch, thousands of transactions have already been conducted, the company reports. The integration allows payments to be made with stablecoins without the need to set up complex blockchain infrastructure, and sellers receive instant payments in cryptocurrencies. Moreover, in the future, the network is expected to expand to over 10,000 points of sale in retail, tourism, gaming, hospitality, and e-commerce.
According to Alvin Kan,
“Our goal is to make cryptocurrency convenient for everyday use, and Paydify helps simplify this path for sellers. Bitget Wallet is one of the first major wallets to implement stablecoin payments directly at points of sale. We plan to support over 10,000 merchants worldwide in the coming years.”
Technological Solutions for Crypto Payments
The Paydify platform was created to address the challenges of fragmented crypto payments, particularly the incompatibility of different wallets and blockchains, which complicates their widespread adoption. Reportedly, businesses can accept cryptocurrencies from any wallets without additional setup.
According to the latest Onchain Report, 31% of users worldwide consider the lack of sufficient points of sale to be the main barrier to the daily use of cryptocurrencies. Paydify’s Chief Strategy Officer Pakning Luk noted:
“The integration with Bitget Wallet allows us to test the user experience in real-world conditions. We aim to make cryptocurrency as easy to use as any other payment method. Our goal is to create a reliable and user-friendly platform for payments in digital assets that meets the needs of both users and businesses.”
As part of the pilot program, sellers who join through Bitget Wallet will receive waivers on transaction fees and early access to new features. Applications for participation can be submitted via the relevant link.
