Success and Innovations of Bitget Wallet

The company, specializing in non-custodial solutions, also noted that the wallet’s transaction volume exceeded $12 billion, and the new features implemented to simplify daily payments have become essential tools for users.

The growing popularity of Bitget Wallet is linked to the global trend of asset control. The company’s Chief Operating Officer, Alvin Kan, stated:

“Our goal has always been to make cryptocurrency practical and convenient. We are creating a product that allows participation in Web3 on one’s own terms — from discovering new tokens to everyday payments.”

Founded in 2018, Bitget Wallet has integrated with thousands of decentralized applications (dApps) and supports various networks. Since its launch, the wallet has processed over 250 million transactions, becoming a comprehensive hub for on-chain activity, including trading, storage, and the ability to pay for goods with cryptocurrency.

Factors Behind the Popularity Growth

Among the main reasons for the active growth of Bitget Wallet are:

  • increasing demand for mobile and self-custody asset storage solutions;
  • growth in on-chain trading activity;
  • introduction of new payment features;
  • users’ desire for greater autonomy amid a volatile market.

Users are also attracted by the integrated approach: in Bitget Wallet, one can not only store tokens but also trade, earn, and make payments all within a single interface. Recent updates include the launch of Super DEX — an aggregator of decentralized exchanges covering over 130 blockchains, as well as the Bitget Wallet Alpha mobile interface with real-time signals. To enhance user security, the wallet has also added protection against MEV attacks and risk detection tools (EIP-7702).

On the occasion of Bitget Wallet’s seventh anniversary, the team plans to hold user meetups in various regions, online sessions with management, and publish an annual summary report.
