From May 14 to 16, 2025, Toronto will host the large-scale Web3 conference Consensus 2025, organized by CoinDesk. This is the first event of its kind to take place in Canada, and it will be one of the largest in the world in the field of digital assets and blockchain.

More than 500 speakers will participate in the conference, including prominent politicians, entrepreneurs, and experts in the cryptocurrency and Web3 sectors. Notably, among the guests will be:

The event program includes six stages, featuring CoinDesk PitchFest and a hackathon. Over 400 startups, 200 sponsors, and more than 6,800 companies from around the world will participate in the conference.
Choice of Toronto and Expectations
The organizers chose Toronto for its role as the third-largest technology and second-largest financial center in North America, as well as its historical experience in the cryptocurrency space. It is expected that over 20,000 participants from more than 100 countries will gather at the event, including leaders of the largest Canadian companies in the industry, such as Dean Skurka (WonderFi), Danish Adjmeri (Wealthsimple), and Lucas Matheson (Coinbase Canada).
According to the organizers, Consensus 2025 will serve as a platform for discussing the most pressing issues in the fields of digital assets, finance, and technology, contributing to the shaping of the future of Web3 and the blockchain industry.
