Key Donors from the Cryptocurrency Sector

Among the largest contributions are notable names: CEO of the Uniswap platform Hayden Adams, who donated approximately $245,000, as well as Solana Labs, which funded the campaign with $1 million, and the consulting firm Consensys — $100,000. Additionally, the exchange Coinbase and the issuer of stablecoins USDC Circle each contributed $1 million. This reflects significant interest from crypto companies in political processes in the United States.

Investigations and Case Closures

According to the SEC, the regulator closed investigations against several cryptocurrency companies, including Uniswap, Consensys, and Coinbase, in February 2025. The case against Ripple Labs, which lasted several years, was closed in March 2025. Furthermore, Ripple Labs donated nearly $4.9 million in support of Trump, as confirmed by SEC documents.

Other companies that provided financial support include Robinhood, Ondo Finance, and PayPal. It was also previously reported that the co-founders of the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz made contributions in support of Trump.

“This indicates the active role of cryptocurrency companies in the political life of the United States,” experts comment.
