MELANIA Creators Launch $30 Million Token Sale Without Explanation

творці MELANIA запустили розпродаж токенів на $30 млн

Analysts have recorded a “quiet” sale of 50 million MELANIA tokens with no comments from the developers. It is known that 92% of the meme coin’s supply is controlled by the project team, raising concerns about the future price of the token.

The team behind the Melania Meme (MELANIA) meme coin has transferred tokens totaling approximately $30 million from community funds and has begun selling them. This was reported by the Bubblemaps platform on April 7, 2025. Analysts confirmed that these operations are being conducted without official comments from the developers.

“$30M was moved from community funds — and is now being quietly sold, with no explanation from the team”

According to Bubblemaps, 50 million tokens were initially transferred to one address and then distributed among various wallets. Of this, $3 million was transferred to exchanges, $6 million was used to open new positions, and about $500,000 has already been sold. Additionally, analysts emphasize that 92% of MELANIA tokens are still controlled by wallets associated with the developers, increasing the risk of further price decline.

It is worth noting that the MELANIA meme coin, launched in January 2025, initially traded above $13, but has since lost more than 96% of its value and is now valued at $0.51, according to CoinGecko data. In just the last day, its price has dropped by 8.1%.

The project’s co-founder, Hayden Davis, is already linked to a similar “hidden sales” scheme involving another meme coin — LIBRA, which was previously promoted by Argentine President Javier Milei. This case caused political resonance following the sharp decline in the token’s value.

Overall, according to Dune Analytics, interest in the meme coin sector is decreasing, as the issuance of new tokens on the Solana blockchain through the pump.fun platform has dropped by more than 70% since the beginning of 2025.

Let us remind you that the developer of LIBRA recently launched a new token.
