In western Ukraine, the active development of retail infrastructure continues. In May of this year, construction will begin on the new shopping and entertainment center (SEC) Skelya in the city of Stryi, Lviv region, which will become the largest in the area. The total area of the new facility exceeds 25,000 square meters, with a rental space of about 21,500 square meters. For the convenience of visitors, a parking lot for 300 cars is planned.

Currently, there is only one large SEC operating in Stryi — “Stryi City”, which has half the area of the one currently under construction. The full opening of SEC Skelya is planned for the period from July to September 2026, and it will feature a variety of retail segments. The developer is currently looking for tenants for the newly created SEC.
Opening of a New Supermarket in Radyvyliv
Additionally, a new modern supermarket of the international chain SPAR has recently opened in the city of Radyvyliv, located in the Rivne region. This supermarket has a retail space of 440 square meters and offers a wide range of products for local residents.
Expansion of the “Blizhenko” Chain
The “Blizhenko” store chain is intensifying its activities in the western Ukrainian food retail market. Recently, it took over a space previously occupied by the LIGA prim chain in Chernivtsi. It is worth noting that “Blizhenko” began its expansion in the Chernivtsi region back in December of last year and now has 205 stores in five regions.
