Ukrainian Officials Declared Bitcoins Worth $44 Million in 2024

In 2024, more than 2000 Ukrainian officials reported holding cryptocurrencies in their declarations. According to the analytical company Incrypted, a total of 573 bitcoins were declared, which at the time of calculation is valued at approximately $44.2 million.

Top 3 Bitcoin Holders in Ukraine

According to the analysis of declarations from the Unified State Register, the top three bitcoin holders are:

  • Oleksandr Kizlyar — 100 BTC, stored in a Trust Wallet. He received his first cryptocurrency back in January 2012, when 100 BTC were valued at just 4,794 UAH.
  • Mykyta Kuzkevych — 88 BTC, purchased in March 2012. This deputy of the Odesa Regional Council previously topped the ranking with 121 BTC.
  • Oleh Bondarenko — 80 BTC, acquired in October 2013 for 79,930 UAH. He is the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Natural Resource Management.
