The South Korean company LS Group is considering the possibility of building a modern tractor factory in Ukraine. Minister of Agrarian Policy Vitaliy Koval emphasized the importance of this project, stating:

“The construction of a tractor factory is not only a potential investment but also a strategic step for the development of the Ukrainian agrarian sector. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, we have lost over 8,000 units of machinery and equipment, including more than 1,000 tractors.”
Vitaliy Koval also reported that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is continuously working on updating and modernizing the material and technical base of the agrarian sector. “We are interested in the long-standing experience and advanced technologies of LS Group in the production of agricultural machinery, which they are ready to integrate into production in Ukraine. Korean investors are seeking potential partners for the implementation of the project. Therefore, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is assisting in establishing such cooperation in the format of a joint Ukrainian-Korean venture,” the minister emphasized.
Furthermore, the prospects for creating a technological center for the production of engines for agricultural machinery and other equipment are being considered. LS Group is known as one of the leaders in the South Korean industry, and their range of tractors varies in power from 30 to 150 horsepower.
