On April 28-29, 2025, the first Unchained Summit, organized by Aeternum, took place at the Kempinski Central Avenue hotel in Dubai. This large-scale event brought together over 500 participants and 75 speakers from more than 40 countries, serving as a platform for discussing important topics in the world of Web3 and blockchain.

Over the course of two days, participants had the opportunity to discuss topics related to blockchain, DePIN, the tokenization of real assets, artificial intelligence in Web3, and institutional adoption of crypto assets. Shriram Kannan, CEO of EigenLayer, noted:
“Events like the Unchained Summit play a crucial role in fostering the development of a genuine community within the ecosystem.”
The organizers emphasized that the main goal of the event went beyond that of a typical gathering. They created a hub where traditional finance (TradFi) met the Web3 industry. Speakers represented well-known companies, including CertiK, EigenLayer, PayPal, OKX, and Animoca Brands.

The event marked an important milestone for all participants, as the discussions and agreements made during the conference had practical significance. As Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, stated:
“While Web3 is already a $2-3 trillion industry, it is still relatively small compared to traditional markets. That’s why such meetings are important — they help us unite, collaborate, and build stronger coordination within the ecosystem.”
The next Unchained Summits will take place in Dubai on October 30-31 and in Bangalore on December 5-6, 2025, focusing on integrating Web3 with the real economy.
