1inch Integrates Solana Blockchain to Expand DeFi Capabilities

DEX-агрегатор 1inch інтегрував Solana

The decentralized aggregator 1inch has officially integrated with the Solana blockchain, allowing users to swap over a million tokens from this network with favorable exchange rates and protection against MEV (Maximum Extractable Value). A user-friendly interface has also been implemented to promote the development of decentralized finance (DeFi).

Innovative Features and Development Plans

According to the statement, one of the main innovations is the integration of the Fusion protocol, which allows users to set transaction parameters while professional market makers (resolvers) compete for the right to execute them using a Dutch auction mechanism. This significantly increases the speed and efficiency of swaps on the Solana network, which has a short block time, giving it an advantage over slower networks.

“We created 1inch to unite fragmented networks and overcome one of the main barriers to DeFi. The integration with Solana brings us closer to this goal,” explained 1inch co-founder Sergey Kunz.

In the coming months, cross-chain exchanges between Solana and at least ten other blockchains are planned. The 1inch team already has access to the network’s API through six developer tools: Swap API, Balance API, Token API, Spot Price API, Transaction Gateway API, and Gas Price API.

Market Significance and Future Plans

According to the developers, Solana has become an important component of 1inch’s global strategy for integrating various blockchains and expanding DeFi capabilities. Over the past three months, trading volume on decentralized exchanges (DEX) based on Solana has surpassed Ethereum in terms of transactions, active addresses, and trading volume, indicating rapid growth for this network.

Co-founders of 1inch Anton Bukov and Sergey Kunz announced plans for integration with Solana back in December 2024, and in March 2025, the aggregator began collaborating with the zkEVM Layer 2 network Linea from Consensys, further expanding its capabilities.
