RISE Program: Goals and Benefits for Businesses
RISE will be an innovative initiative for the Ukrainian market, aiming to attract investments of €100 million to implement a hundred local energy projects over the next three years. This program is expected to contribute to the stabilization of the energy system, help protect consumers from emergency outages, and unjustified tariff increases.
“RISE will be the first program of its kind in Ukraine and aims to attract €100 million to finance 100 local energy projects over three years. The initiative is expected to help stabilize the energy system and protect customers from outages and price spikes. The initiative combines DTEK’s expertise and experience in implementing energy-efficient projects with the Kraken operating system from Octopus Energy Group, which operates based on artificial intelligence, to enhance energy resilience.”
Innovative Technologies and Energy Consumption Optimization
Solar power plants and storage systems will be installed directly at customer sites. All these solutions will be integrated with the Kraken platform developed by Octopus Energy Group based on artificial intelligence. This will allow business owners to effectively manage electricity consumption in real-time, reduce load during peak hours, and sell excess generated energy back to the grid.
The combination of DTEK’s experience in implementing energy-efficient solutions and the technological innovations of Octopus Energy Group is set to be a powerful stimulus for enhancing Ukraine’s energy resilience and developing modern “green” technologies in industry and the public sector.
