The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe is actively involved in career orientation work with youth. Since the beginning of the school year, the company has organized tours for ninth-grade students, allowing them to familiarize themselves with modern production, equipment, and engineering professions. According to the press release, over 400 schoolchildren have already participated in these tours, marking an important step in shaping their future career choices.

Modernization of Production and Educational Spaces
During the tours, students had the opportunity to see modern equipment, learn about production technological processes, and communicate with engineers, programmers, and qualified specialists of the company.
“Most students still have outdated perceptions of production. We show them that modern industry involves high technologies, interesting tasks, and good prospects,” said representatives from Interpipe.
In addition to production tours, youth are invited to the updated workshop for machinists at Vocational Technical School No. 2, which was modernized last year with the support of the city authorities. Here, students learn on modern equipment using relevant programs and have already chosen a profession in the manufacturing sector. Career orientation activities are part of a broader program by Interpipe: the company is updating educational spaces, adapting educational programs to market needs, and supporting teacher development. The company believes that many participants in the tours will soon make a conscious choice in favor of technical education.
Modernization of School Classrooms and Learning Equipment
In early February, Interpipe, in collaboration with the city authorities of Dnipro, modernized two labor classrooms in schools on the left bank of the city. In these institutions, students received modern equipment similar to that used in the company’s production. The company also purchased equipment and updated training programs for preparing future machinists at Vocational Technical School No. 2 in Dnipro. Additionally, two modern labor classrooms have been opened in Gymnasiums No. 121 and No. 24, and recently the schools received programmable Fischertechnik construction sets. In total, 12 modernized school locations have already been opened.
