Excalibur Army, the largest defense company in the Czech Republic and part of the Czechoslovak Group holding, has opened its representative office in Ukraine and is preparing to establish ammunition production here. This move aims to enhance production capabilities and deepen defense cooperation with Ukraine.

Expansion of Cooperation and Localization of Production
The Excalibur Army office in Ukraine will be responsible for processing orders, managing documentation, providing technical consultations, and establishing cooperation with local partners. Together with the company “Ukrainian Armored Vehicles,” Excalibur Army has already prepared a project for ammunition production on Ukrainian territory. The launch of the factory is scheduled for this year. At the initial stage, the level of production localization will be 50%, gradually increasing to 80% in the future.
Production Capacity and Strategic Importance for Ukraine
The new factory will have the capacity to produce 100,000 155 mm shells and 50,000 105 mm shells annually. Ukraine is currently the second-largest market for Czechoslovak Group, which is a leading manufacturer and supplier of weapons in Central Europe.
Excalibur Army has been supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale aggression by the Russian Federation, delivering over 1,000 units of military equipment, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery systems, and rocket launchers, as well as more than 2 million large-caliber ammunition.
