Ukraine Received Most of the German Arms
Ukraine has become the main recipient of German military assistance, receiving arms worth €8.15 billion, which accounts for 64% of the total export volume. Over the past year, 306 armored combat vehicles, 316 missiles and missile systems, 78 tanks, and 11 large-caliber artillery systems were transferred to the Ukrainian side.

Rheinmetall to Build Modern Powder Factory in Romania
Alongside the record exports, the German defense conglomerate Rheinmetall has signed an agreement with Romania to establish the world’s largest factory for the production of powder for ammunition. The project will be implemented in the city of Victoria with the support of the European Commission. The new facility will produce powder for the needs of the Romanian defense industry and for countries in the region.
Construction of the factory will begin in 2026 and will last for three years. The total investment will reach €535 million, which will create approximately 700 new jobs. The factory will enhance the defense capabilities of Romania and its partners, as well as contribute to the stability of ammunition supplies in the region.
