Systematic Strikes Against American Businesses in Ukraine
According to Sybiha, the recent shelling of the Bunge sunflower oil production plant in Dnipro is yet another example of targeted attacks by Russia on American enterprises. The minister emphasized that the strike on the plant, known for producing “Oleyina” oil, was not accidental, as Russian forces have repeatedly attempted to harm this facility.
“During the full-scale war, approximately half of the members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine have experienced damage or destruction of their facilities of various scales,” added Sybiha.”
Russian Attacks Against Key American Companies
The minister also mentioned that in 2025, Russian strikes led to damage to Boeing’s office in Kyiv, as well as a major American electronics manufacturer in Transcarpathia and other facilities. Sybiha stressed the systematic nature of such actions, which are aimed not only at the economic presence of the United States but also against American interests in general.
He specifically noted that Russia’s attacks on American businesses in Ukraine demonstrate Vladimir Putin’s complete disregard for peace initiatives led by President Donald Trump.
AmCham Ukraine unites over 600 companies with American, international, and Ukrainian capital, representing various sectors of the country’s economy.
