Main Features and Products of the Plant
The new plant, named “Interjuice Bukovina,” focuses on producing concentrated apple juice, as well as juices from local berries: raspberries, cherries, sweet cherries, plums, and others. To meet production needs, the company plans to source raw materials primarily from farms in the Chernivtsi region and neighboring areas, which will further support local agricultural producers.
Infrastructure and Environmental Initiatives
The project is being implemented within an industrial park covering nearly 12 hectares, where the construction of warehouses, purification and drying facilities, administrative buildings, and access roads is also planned. In addition to its main products, the plant will produce biogas obtained during the processing of fruits. This will allow it to be used for heating local buildings, making the enterprise environmentally friendly and energy-efficient.
The launch of production is scheduled for the end of this year, and preparatory work is currently underway. According to experts’ estimates, the project will create about 150 new jobs for local residents.
